Teddy is very underweight with significant muscle wastage. His coat is horrendously matted as you can see. He has severe dental disease which needs urgent veterinary attention. However, he also has pneumonia and is lame on his front right paw. The vet thinks his paw is infected but we can not rule out an injury without an x-ray however he is not clinically stable enough to be anaesthetised for an x-ray or a dental due to his pneumonia
The vets ran blood tests which confirmed a severe infection but his organs were working ok for his age . Teddy was prescribed antibiotics , analgesia and probiotics.
