Having survived the Canidrome Monty flew to the UK from China and came into the care of Forever Hounds Trust.
Monty is a gorgeous 9-year-old hound with quirky ears the rescue was worried about him as he didn't seem to be putting on weight and was struggling to walk without another dog with him.
Unfortunately tests have shown that Monty has a seriously low platelet count and that he also has no peripheral vision. The other dogs with him on his walks had been acting as his eyes.
The rescue decided to have further tests carried out as they were concerned that there may be an underlying condition causing Monty's problems.
As you can imagine tests and treatment are quite expensive and so they were looking for help to fund them.
